Hola, fellow internet-dweller. My name is John Rioux. I'm a writer and a cartoonist.
I've been drawing comics since I was about six years old. In 2011, I decided I'd start publishing these comics, because otherwise they would just sit around gathering dust. After a while, I learned that making stuff is a whole lot harder when you give things a due date and try to make them perfect.
On May 18th, 2014, I exhibited my work at the Maine Comics Arts Festival, where I released my new science-fiction comedy pilot comic book, Wormhole.
My other interests range from filmmaking to tabletop roleplaying. I really enjoy making just about any form of entertainment. Maybe some day this blog will be called "John Rioux Entertainment." That has a nice important sound to it.
