P.S. If you think the lettering and art look terrible, it's because I need sharper nib pens. That way I'll have more control, and smoother, thinner lines.

Also, this Tuesday is my 14th birthday! Just to let you know. Well, you probably didn't care at all, but that's just the sort of thing you'd expect to be put on a blog, so there it is.

Here's an interesting story. When I drew this comic, I didn't like the way I drew panels 6 and 7. They originally looked like this (click to enlarge).

Now, for some reason, I really didn't like these panels. So much, in fact, that I decided to literally "Cut and Paste" new panels in.
So then I had two big holes in my comic. I put the comic onto a sheet of blank paper, drew the new and improved panels, and taped them onto the comic (so I guess I didn't actually "paste" them, but you get the idea.
I guess this goes to show what trouble I go in to make these comics. That's all for today.

Rabbit and Robot #10
It may have taken three weeks, but it's here! Joey Han's tenth installment of the improvised Rabbit and Robot series! (It's pretty big; you might want to open it in another tab to read it.)

Rabbit and Robot #9
Here's the ninth installment of the improvised series! Are you new to the
story? You can read all of the Rabbit and Robot posts here.

Today I'm going to tell you how I go about creating these comics. As it is an improvised comic, the first step is to simply sit at my desk, dip a nib pen into a bottle of ink, and start drawing. I use india ink on a sheet of Staples Heavyweight Printing Paper (I only use Bristol board for big projects, like Super Rooster). I don't even use pencils. I just start inking.
The next step is coloring. I scan the drawing to my computer, then use Corel Painter to start coloring. I also use the program to erase any mistakes, like that messed up "D" in the second panel. When I'm done, I save the file, and post it on my blog.

Rabbit and Robot #5
Here is the fifth installment of the very strange improvised webcomic!
As you can see I've added another robot character. Hopefully the title of this comic will start to make sense again.
Now, I guess I've been pretty busy lately, because I haven't posted anything for the past couple weeks besides Rabbit and Robot stuff! So here's a random monster sketch I found while digging through my computer files:

Rabbit and Robot #4
Sorry about last week, but here it is! The fourth installment of the improv comic Rabbit and Robot!
Just how improvised is it, though? Well, let's put it this way. When I took out a blank piece of paper, I asked myself "What the heck does the Burrowing Animal Association do, anyway?" So I made Rabbit ask the groundhog. The groundhog said the first word that came into my mind: "Anti-Predator". But wait - in the last comic I had a fox working with them, so that wouldn't make sense! So that fifth panel, that's me trying to think of an answer. I couldn't think of one, so I had a giant fist come and smash the desk in half. Then I thought it would be cool if the fist was made of the ground!
This comic just gets stranger and stranger.

Here is the third installment of the Rabbit and Robot series (click to enlarge). I think I did a far better job coloring here than I did the last one.
